Midwest Pet Refuge is located in Portland, IN. We help homeless, abandoned, stray and unwanted pets in East Central Indiana.

We are focused on helping animals in need, as well as educating the public on responsible pet ownership.

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization relying on community support, volunteers, and donations to operate.

We have many different pets available for adoption to loving family homes. All are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, treated for fleas and anything else they may need. Some come to us in poor condition, and we do our best to get them back in top shape prior to adoption.

We are always in need of reliable volunteers and responsible foster homes to help take care of our pets! Can you help?
